Breaking News: Victory on Proposed Fee Increases

Following months of advocacy, both publicly and behind the scenes, by the Oregon psilocybin therapy community, the Oregon Health Authority just announced that they will not be moving forward with the proposed fee increases for psilocybin therapy providers that had threatened the survival of the program.

Thanks to many of you on this list, we generated 688 emails to the Governor’s Office and the newly appointed OHA director. Together with partners in Oregon, we drove public comment, press stories, and increased interest from both the Governor’s behavioral health team and the legislature.

We’ll keep working to strengthen and support the world’s first regulated psilocybin access program, but today we can celebrate together that we made our voices heard, made a difference, and made it possible for people to continue to find healing in Oregon.
